Mormon Fun!!

So here are some updates on some awesome Mormon activities that we have had recently:

SERVICE PROJECT:





Included painting a fence (or eachother) and moving lots of large boxes. This is how me and Brittney looked after. Um, GROSS.


Oh and no comments about the sweater! I was too cold to refuse when it was offered to me by the old lady we were doing the service project for.

Oekaki Contest

Here is another online drawing I just completed, this one was for a contest where the topic was to portray an emotion. My emotion I drew was mind-racing-heart-pounding-nervous-adrenaline. Fun with sidewalk chalk

This past week I made a fun discovery in our garage: sidewalk chalk!


I took it to the back parking lot of "The Grange", some run-down municipal building near my house and drew a pretty flower:

















I also practiced my graffiti...on the side of my house....do you think I'm ready to head into Portland? Of course my parents would kill me if I ever pulled out the spray paint....

Beach G i r l s ;P

First week of summer is almost over....Me and Brittney decided to chill at the beach on Wednesday, and it was awesome. We climbed (tripped over, cut toes on) some rocks, tried to walk without stopping straight into the ocean (didn't work) and attempted to tan (but burned). It was a BLAST!

Last day of school!!!

Yes! Finally its summer vacation!!! Our family decided to celebrate in some interesting ways, like blowing up fireworks in our driveway...well me and my dad did while everyone else watched. It was really fun, we had some that spun and shot in all different directions:

This is at my sister Kelsey's 12th birthday party, we are experimenting with the present I gave her, little bottles of colored hair dye. So we were dying all her friends hair. I like this picture because when i saw it i was like "wow my hair is wicked long!". it makes me sad that i cut it. Well, its still long, just not AS long.

And this is a picture of me and brittney working on Kevin's graduation present, which i wont explain because we haven't given it to him yet, but it looks amazing and I can't wait to give it to him!

Portland Museum of Art

For my final for art class I had to visit and write a report on the Portland Museum of art. So I went a couple weeks ago with my dad and we took a picture of this painting. Can anyone answer this question: "Was the person in this painting supposed to be a man or a women?"

Da Family Partay

Yes, I turned 15 TWICE. Well i had to have a party with all the cousins and whatnot. I decorated the cake myself (even though I've heard that you are not supposed to do that). It was that yummylicious kind of cake with the colored sprinkles on the inside, here is my awesome frosting job....ok so the blue came out REALLY fast...

Meg's Birthday!

Yeah, thats right, Megan's 15!!! And to celebrate I brought a bunch-o friends to the beach! Unfortunately Kevin, Jen and Des had to leave early, for some reason kevin had to go to his own graduation party (whatever!) so that left me, Brittney, Tom, Ian and the crazy Mitchell family to enjoy the beach! Here are some pics:

We spent a lot of our time at the beach building a ginormous dribble-castle! In this picture Tom looks really excited, he's trying to dig a tunnel through the whole castle.

The two people you probably dont recognize as either Meg, Britt, Ian or Tom would be my sisters Kelsey (in blue) and Libby (the smaller one).

In this picture me and Tom are finishing the tunnel, we both have our arms up to the elbows shoved in the middle of the castle digging until: "hey, I felt your hand! we're through!" Yeah that's me and Tom.

Don't worry, my arm really isn't broken. This is a picture from when the young women did first-aid certification for camp. I just wanted to show off my awesome fedora that my friend Tommy gave me for my birthday!

This is the my family's attempt at a bonfire, I never saw any flames, but there was a lot of smoke! Anyways I thought this picture was cool... Hey! You like our willow tree? Its getting pretty big....

The same day we roasted marshmallows in our new, um, fire thingy.

Temple Trip

These are some pictures from the youth temple trip that we went on recently. I liked a lot of these pictures because they captured a lot of funny faces from people ;)

I thought this picture was funny because it was taken right after Ian and Brittney had been making fun of me, so they were laughing and I was angry, I think I'm even making a fist in the picture. ;) In the back left to right: my sister Kelsey and my cousin Hannah, Hannah D. , Laura, Johnny and Audrey.

In this one I'm like "are you really taking ANOTHER picture?" and of course Audrey and Brittney are looking very photogenic.
